Dovo strops
These excellently made strops from the German straight razor company are invaluable to the razor. Dovo are a straight razor manufacturer so Edward’s trust’s this product, to maintain a fine edge on a blade.
Cow hide and canvas are a great combination for stroping and honing. Personally I go for 8 strokes on both sides and repeat. Always ending on the leather. I recommend strop paste on the canvas also as this will create an abrassive edge.
